CDL Class A Driver & Yard Jockey First Shift

Street Fleet is looking for an experienced Class A Driver & Yard Jockey to support our Minneapolis/Saint Paul operation. We are a local company with over 20 years of experience and rapidly growing! This position will have several duties, so the right candidate will enjoy a variety of work. Shift: Monday - Friday 4:30am - 1:30pm Key Responsibilities Moving trailers in and out of dock doors and/or repositioning trailers within parking lot. Operating a forklift and completing warehouse functions as needed Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and communicate any issues with management. Operating a 26 foot Dock truck to pick up and drop off local freight according to assigned routes, schedules, and customer requirements. Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, deliveries, vehicle issues, and changes in operating conditions. Requirements Include: Maintain current CDL Class A driver’s license. Have a current Medical card. Clean Background; this role requires TSA Certification. If you don't have it, we can help certify the right candidate. Must be able to effectively communicate to maintain positive relations with team members and customers. Capable of standing, walking, and repeatedly climbing into and out of truck tractor or forklift several times throughout the day. Ability to lift 50lbs periodically Comfortable using smart devices Experience in general warehousing and 26 foot Dock Truck Deliveries.
