RAPID RESPONSE TEAM (RRT) — CDL-A FLATBED DRIVER WITH MOFFETT Building Materials Delivery | Lowe’s & Home Depot Contract Freight WHO WE ARE? We run a Rapid Response Team model — the same contract structure used in travel nursing. When a store or distribution center calls, we deploy. No waiting for freight to build, no sitting in a yard. You are the response. THE ROLE - CDL-A flatbed driver on a 33’ flatbed with truck-mounted Moffett forklift - Deliver building materials — lumber, drywall, shingles, brick, block, roofing — to Lowe’s and Home Depot locations and job sites - Unload independently at sites with no dock, no forklift, no receiving crew. The Moffett is your tool, and you are the operator - Secure, no tarp, and inspect loads per DOT regulations - Pre-trip/post-trip inspections, accurate ELD and delivery logs - Professional communication with dispatch, store managers, and customers THE RRT CONTRACT (like travel nursing) - Response window: report to the assigned terminal within 3 days of contract activation - Assignment length: out for the entirety of the assignment — typically 4 to 13 weeks. Early termination without cause forfeits the completion bonus and may trigger reassignment fees - Home time: built into the schedule. You know your start date, end date, and home time before you leave - Guaranteed pay: $375/day minimum on experienced drivers, adjustable by experience. Pay is not dependent on freight volume — you’re paid for being ready and deployed, the way a travel nurse is paid for being staffed - Completion bonus: finish the full assignment and earn a bonus on top of daily pay - Extensions: by mutual agreement. Refusing a reasonable extension may affect future RRT eligibility WHAT WE PROVIDE Company truck, Moffett, fuel card, per diem where applicable, DOT physical, drug screen, and background check covered WHAT WE REQUIRE - Valid Class A CDL, clean driving record - Moffett/forklift experience, or willingness to train — most drivers are comfortable in one to two days - Flatbed experience preferred - Ability to lift, secure, and handle freight - Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check - Reliable transportation to the terminal within the 3-day response window - Professional attitude — you represent us at every store and job site WHY RRT This is not a regular flatbed job. The Moffett skill is rare. The RRT commitment is rare. Together, they command a premium. Apply now — RRT positions fill fast. Response window starts when you accept. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $375.00 per day Experience: Route driving: 2 years (Required) Language: English (Required) Work Location: On the road
