We offer consistent, full-time work, a predictable schedule, brand-new trucks and equipment, and local routes that get you home every evening. Our routes are within approximately 10 miles of Bedford Park. You'll primarily pick up ocean containers from nearby rail yards and deliver them to our warehouse. No long-haul trips or nights spent on the road. What You'll Do Pick up 20-foot and 40-foot ocean containers from CSX 59th Street and Norfolk Southern Landers intermodal terminals . Transport containers to our warehouse in Bedford Park, IL, with routes generally within a 10-mile radius. Safely operate and maintain our brand-new truck and equipment. Coordinate pickups and deliveries with our Logistics Manager and warehouse team. Follow all DOT safety regulations and proper load securement procedures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate transportation paperwork, logs, and delivery records. Communicate professionally with rail yard personnel and warehouse staff. What We're Looking For Valid CDL Class A license. At least 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred. Experience operating in rail yards and transporting 20-foot and 40-foot ocean containers strongly preferred. Knowledge of intermodal operations, DOT regulations, and commercial vehicle safety requirements. Safe driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements. Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
