CDL Class A Driver Location: High Point, NC Schedule: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 12:00 AM Start Time Home Daily | Dedicated Route $27.85/hour + Excellent Benefits $1,000 Sign-On Bonus Join Our Team HandCraft Services is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our Transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and delivering linen products to healthcare customers while ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time service. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high safety standards, delivering excellent customer service, and representing HandCraft Services professionally at all times. Key Responsibilities Load linen carts onto trucks and trailers in the proper sequence and ensure carts are correctly identified for each customer location. Safely deliver products to customers according to scheduled routes and delivery timelines. Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operation and compliance with company and DOT requirements. Load and return the appropriate number of empty and soiled carts after deliveries. Complete and maintain required DOT documentation and vehicle inspection records. Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and comply with all company safety policies and procedures. Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A License and current DOT medical card. Minimum of 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience (2 years preferred). Ability to meet all DOT requirements. Strong backing and maneuvering skills. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 500 pounds. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds overhead. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to work in various weather conditions.
