Work 9 AM–5 PM. Be home every day. Central Mass Auto Auction (CMAA) is looking for a dependable, professional Class A CDL Driver to join our transportation team in Oxford, Massachusetts. This is a 9 AM–5 PM, home-daily position offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a great work environment. Previous car-hauling experience is preferred, but not required. What You'll Be Doing As a 5-Car Carrier Driver, you'll play an important role in keeping vehicles moving safely and efficiently between dealerships, customer locations, and our auction facility. Your responsibilities will include: Safely operating a 5-car auto transport carrier. Loading, positioning, securing, and unloading vehicles of various makes, models, and sizes. Transporting vehicles to and from dealerships, auction locations, and designated pickup and delivery points. Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the carrier and transport equipment. Inspecting vehicles for existing damage and accurately documenting their condition. Properly securing vehicles using approved tie-down procedures and equipment. Maintaining accurate transportation paperwork, logs, and required driver records. Communicating professionally with dispatch, dealership personnel, customers, and CMAA staff. Following DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety procedures. Keeping assigned equipment clean, organized, and in safe operating condition. What We're Looking For We're looking for a professional who takes pride in their work, respects the equipment they operate, and understands the importance of delivering vehicles safely. Required Qualifications: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) . Safe driving record. Strong commitment to safety and responsible vehicle operation. Ability to maneuver commercial vehicles in dealership lots, auction facilities, and other confined spaces. Ability to perform the physical responsibilities of loading, securing, and unloading vehicles. Dependable, punctual, organized, and professional. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members and customers. Ability to meet applicable DOT driver qualification requirements. Preferred, But Not Required: Previous experience operating a multi-car auto transport carrier. Knowledge of vehicle loading, weight distribution, and securement procedures. Experience transporting vehicles for dealerships, auto auctions, or transportation companies. Don't have car-hauling experience? Don't count yourself out!
