CDL CLASS A DRIVER
DP Transport LLCJob Overview Join our transportation team as a CDL Class A Driver and keep freight moving safely and reliably. You’ll operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers hauling dry van. Routes may include local deliveries and over-the-road (OTR) driving. This is a paid position. Duties Drive commercial vehicles on assigned delivery and route-driving schedules, using GPS navigation to plan and follow routes. Inspect and secure freight; load and unload cargo using safe manual-handling practices and approved equipment. Transport goods, including dangerous goods when assigned, while following applicable hazardous materials regulations. Maintain required records and operate vehicles in line with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Your impact: Safe, timely deliveries help customers receive their freight in good condition and keep supply chains moving. Experience Required: Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A and experience with commercial truck driving, tractor-trailers, and manual transmission vehicles. Required: Safe driving practices and ability to perform delivery driving, truck loading and unloading, and logistics cargo handling. Preferred: Delivery driver experience, freight transportation, and over-the-road routes. Preferred: Experience with refrigerated trailers, automobile transportation, flatbed or tanker equipment, and hazmat loads.
