CDL Class A Driver

Class A CDL Driver – Local, Regional, & OTR We are seeking a dependable and professional Class A CDL Driver to join our transportation team. This position includes a combination of local deliveries and over-the-road (OTR) assignments based on business needs. Drivers should be comfortable handling both local and regional routes and multi-day trips. Drivers are home on weekends for most trips. Driver Pay Local starting pay of $27/hour for local driving activities. Drivers average $2,000 per week , depending on experience, job type, schedule and the work completed. Top drivers have the opportunity to earn more. Actual earnings vary based on experience, schedule, route, activity, and business needs. What you earn is tied to the work you complete throughout your route. Your total pay is made up of different driving and delivery activities; depending on your route and job, your pay may include trip pay for the route you are delivering for, stop pay for stops on your route, and/or pickup pay for qualifying product pickups on your route. The exact mix of paid activities will depend on your route, schedule, location, and business needs. Benefits · 401(k) · 401(k) company match Health insurance Dental insurance Paid holidays · Paid time off Responsibilities Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and professionally Complete both local and OTR deliveries Pick up and deliver freight to customers, warehouses, and distribution centers Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and receiving departments Follow DOT regulations, safety policies, and hours-of-service requirements Properly secure and protect freight during transportation Maintain assigned equipment in clean and safe operating condition Schedule Home Most Weekends Assignments may include: Local same-day routes Regional routes Multi-day OTR trips during the week Some early morning, evening, or overnight driving may be required depending on the route Qualifications Valid Class A CDL Clean and acceptable driving record, with at least 2 years of prior commercial driving experience strongly preferred Ability and willingness to perform both local and OTR assignments Ability to safely operate a tractor-trailer Dependable attendance and strong communication skills Ability to meet all applicable DOT and FMCSA requirements What We Offer Consistent full-time work, stable year-round transportation needs Home most weekends Mix of local, regional, and OTR driving Company equipment Competitive compensation based on experience Note: Position may include but not limited to standing, climbing, walking, lifting, bending, pulling and/or pushing, grasping, reaching, stooping and crouching, sitting, typing, walking, reading, writing, speaking and listening for extended periods of time.
