CDL Class A Delivery Driver

We are looking for a CDL A Truck Driver to perform a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving and coordinating transportation plans. Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Timely transportation of product form origin to destination as assigned. Accurately pulls and stages orders for customers. Ability to efficiently and effectively load and unload trucks with finished product. Must have valid CDL-A driver's license with ability to meet driver safety standards required by Company insurance carrier. Must be able to obtain or currently have a DOT Medical card. Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations. Must meet company standards for attendance and punctuality. Operates powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) and/or other equipment necessary to carry out essential functions. - training onsite. Ability to clearly communicate information to customers, co-workers, and management. Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver's logs, records of fuel purchases, mileage records and other records required by law and Company policy. Must operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) in a safe manner. Wears the proper Personal Protection Equipment depending on nature of job assignment. - company provided. Participates in yearly physical inventory. Skills: 1 years of related experience working in CDL Class A driving, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred High School Diploma or GED equivalent, preferred. Must have a valid CDL Class A Driver License with ability to operate commercial motor vehicle. Must be able to obtain or currently have a CDL Medical card. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact in a positive and professional manner to develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, co-workers, and management. Must be able to accurately utilize Electronic Logging Device. Environment requires constant walking, standing, and lifting/moving product up to 50 pounds. Details: Home every weekend! Get home Friday afternoon and enjoy your entire weekend. Midweek time at home! Return home Tuesday afternoon and stay home through Wednesday. Only two overnight layovers per week. We provide a hotel room and meal allowance for overnight travel. No sleeping in your truck. Rest comfortably in a hotel during required overnight stays. Dedicated regional routes.
