Truck Delivery Driver – Furniture Delivery & Event Setup CBG Staffing is hiring Truck Drivers for a national furniture rental and event services company. You'll deliver, set up and pick up furniture at tradeshows, events and customer sites: part driver, part setup crew, part customer service. Location: Anaheim, CA Pay: Class A CDL $28/hr. ; 26 ft box truck (non-CDL) $25/hr.; Warehouse $18/hr. Shifts: Usually 4–8 hours, occasionally up to 10 hours, depending on event needs WHAT YOU'LL DO Drive box trucks (including 26-foot trucks) and sprinter vans safely and legally on delivery routes Inspect furniture, then load trucks carefully and in the right order for each delivery Install and assemble furniture at tradeshow and event venues from floor plans or client instructions; clean, touch up or repair pieces as needed Pick up furniture after events, check it for damage, and make sure nothing is left behind Complete pre- and post-trip truck inspections and keep trucks clean and ready for the next shift Keep accurate records, including electronic logging device (ELD) hours-of-service logs, and confirm deliveries in the show-site mobile app Attend pre-delivery meetings and keep the operations team updated on any issues Direct temporary helpers on where and how to deliver, set up, load or unload Help in the warehouse when needed: loading and unloading pallets, putting items away, unboxing and cleaning products Treat clients professionally and handle their questions on site Other duties as assigned WHAT YOU NEED 21 years of age or older High school diploma or GED Valid state driver's license and a driving record (MVR) that meets the client's safe-driving standards 1 year of driving experience preferred Able to obtain and keep a DOT medical card (includes a physical and drug screening) Able to pass a road test and follow FMCSA safety regulations Able to read and speak English well enough to talk with customers, understand road signs, respond to official inquiries and complete reports (FMCSA requirement) Physically able to move furniture indoors and outdoors, up and down stairs and in all weather, and lift 100+ lbs with a partner Steel-toe shoes required on every shift BEFORE YOU START Drug screen Background check (7-year lookback) ROOM TO GROW Drivers who perform well and are hired on permanently by our client may be eligible for its CDL program, which covers the cost of earning a CDL.
