Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Trash Truck Driver role based in Glenolden, PA. The Trash Truck Driver is responsible for operating a commercial trash truck on assigned routes, collecting residential and ensuring timely and safe service. Daily tasks include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, safely driving and maneuvering the truck in varied traffic and weather conditions, and loading or assisting with loading trash and recyclables. The role also involves following all company safety policies, complying with state and federal DOT regulations, and reporting any mechanical issues or route delays. The driver will interact professionally with customers and team members, maintain clean and organized equipment, and complete basic route documentation. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A or B (or appropriate commercial driver’s license) and strong Truck Driving skills for operating and maneuvering a trash Truck safely. Knowledge of DOT Regulations and the ability to follow all safety and compliance requirements. Experience with Unloading, loading, and handling waste materials in a safe and efficient manner. Clean driving record and ability to pass required background checks and drug screenings. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions. Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to safety and detail. Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with a route team and dispatch. Previous experience in waste management, sanitation, or related commercial driving roles is preferred but not required.
