CDL B Truck Driver
Smith WorkforceJob Summary As a CDL B Truck Driver, you’ll keep freight moving safely and reliably from pickup through delivery. You’ll drive commercial vehicles on local routes and, when assigned, over-the-road (OTR) routes; use GPS navigation to follow planned routes; and handle cargo with care. This role may involve refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, tractor-trailers, or automobile transportation, depending on the load and equipment assigned. Your impact: Safe, on-time deliveries help customers receive their freight in good condition and keep supply chains moving. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles in residential and commercial areas, including high-traffic and tight driving conditions Transport and handle residential and commercial waste in accordance with company and safety standards Travel between office and job locations as required to support operations Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures Work flexible schedules, including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Must Have: Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Valid DOT or ability to obtain prior to start date Minimum 19 years of age Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years and no disqualifying DUI/OVI offenses Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Work Location: In person
