Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a CDL B Truck Driver based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The CDL B Truck Driver will primarily be responsible for safely operating trucks to transport goods, equipment, or other materials. Daily tasks include loading and unloading trucks, ensuring timely deliveries, conducting vehicle inspections, and maintaining compliance with all safety and transportation regulations. Clear communication with the operations team and adherence to delivery schedules are vital aspects of the role. Qualifications Valid CDL Class B license and a clean driving record Experience in operating medium-duty trucks and adhering to safety protocols Knowledge of delivery routes and traffic regulations within the New York City Metropolitan Area Ability to perform basic vehicle inspection and report maintenance needs Strong organizational and time management skills Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and clients Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks as required Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with community service organizations is a plus
