This role involves delivering boxed meat and seafood products while providing professional customer service and safely handling touch freight. Pay & Schedule Details Pay: $25.73 per hour Overtime: Paid after 40 hours Schedule: Monday through Friday, with possible Saturdays Start time: 4:00–5:00 a.m. Typical workday: 8–10 hours Job Details Route type: Local route delivery Service area: Richmond area Freight: Boxed meat and seafood products Customers: Restaurants, hotels, and similar commercial locations Freight handling: Heavy-touch deliveries Equipment: Automatic box truck and manual pallet jack Maximum handling weight: 90 pounds Key Responsibilities Operate an automatic box truck safely and responsibly. Complete local delivery routes according to schedule. Load, unload, and transport boxed meat and seafood products. Use a manual pallet jack to move freight. Perform touch-freight deliveries weighing up to 90 pounds. Provide professional service at restaurants, hotels, and other customer locations. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and follow all applicable transportation regulations. Minimum Requirements CDL Class B license. 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience. Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years. Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements. Ability to safely handle touch freight weighing up to 90 pounds. Ability to work early morning shifts and possible Saturdays. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
