We're looking for a dependable, safety-focused Class B CDL Driver with a Hazmat Endorsement to join our growing helium distribution team. Location: Concord, CA FLSA: Non-Exempt Reports To: Helium Logistics Manager Position Summary The Helium Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting and delivering helium cylinders and related products to customer locations while providing outstanding customer service. This position also assists with loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining delivery documentation, and supporting warehouse operations as needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate a Class B box truck to deliver helium cylinders and products to customer locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation. Load and unload deliveries using hand trucks, dollies, and other material handling equipment. Safely transport and handle compressed gas cylinders in accordance with DOT and company safety standards. Interact professionally with customers during deliveries and provide exceptional customer service. Verify delivery quantities and obtain customer signatures when required. Work closely with warehouse personnel to prepare and load daily deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery records and report any delivery issues or vehicle concerns. Keep assigned vehicle clean and properly maintained. Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and hazardous material handling requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Current Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) Endorsement Minimum one year of commercial driving experience Clean driving record Ability to safely operate a 24-foot box truck (GVWR under 26,000 lbs.) Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable, self-motivated, and dependable Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong team-oriented attitude Commitment to safety and attention to detail Physical Requirements Drive for extended periods of time Frequently alternate between sitting, standing, and walking Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds Load and unload products using hand trucks and dollies Climb ramps and stairs as needed Frequently reach, bend, stoop, and grasp materials Operate foot and hand controls safely Possess sufficient near vision, peripheral vision, hearing, and manual dexterity to safely perform job duties Compensation: Wage commensurate with experience and qualifications.
