CDL-A/Yard Jockey

Operate a tractor trailer to transport frozen food products.
• Moving trailers from dock to dock.
• Positioning trailers into storage areas.
• Make daily trips to our offsite storage facility, approximately 15 miles away.
• Perform pre-trip and post trip inspections
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle.
• Adhere to all OSHA and DOT safety regulations and company policies.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations.
• Ensuring that trailers and equipment are always secured
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle service records.
• Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing goods.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers using onboard systems or mobile
devices.
• Attend training as required, including Quality Control, Human Resources, etc.
• Other duties as assigned
