Role Description This is a full-time, CDL A Regional Truck Driver role based in Grafton, OH. But you are permitted to take the truck home. The driver will operate commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently, following all federal, state, and local regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and handling cargo, maintaining accurate logs and delivery paperwork, and adhering to company safety policies. The role involves coordinating with dispatch, managing schedules, and communicating any delays or issues while on the road. Drivers are expected to represent Romerica Express LLC professionally with customers and support a safe, clean, and compliant working environment. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record, with familiarity with DOT regulations and safety procedures. At least 2 years experience operating commercial trucks and handling freight, including basic vehicle inspection and maintenance awareness. Strong time management, route planning, and organizational skills to meet delivery schedules safely and reliably. Clear and professional communication skills for working with dispatch, customers, and team members. Ability to work independently, follow company policies, and maintain accurate logs and documentation. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in regional or long-haul trucking is an advantage. Ability to meet physical demands of the role, such as sitting for extended periods and handling cargo within safety guidelines.
