Job Description: CDL Class A Driver – Van, Roll-Off & Lugger Imperial Express, LLC | Chicago, IL | Full-Time, Salaried | $67,500 – $70,000 per year About Us Imperial Express, LLC is a small, dedicated carrier hauling freight exclusively for our parent company’s customers, which lets us focus on delivering superior service. We are seeking a motivated, experienced CDL Class A driver with van, roll-off, and lugger experience to join the trucking team at our Chicago, IL facility. You’ll be off every weekend and on all major holidays, with pay. Position Overview The Driver operates various commercial vehicle and container combinations between company and customer facilities, terminals, yards, and work sites. The primary role is to pick up, transport, and deliver freight safely and efficiently. This position reports to the Transportation Manager, with day-to-day direction from the Dispatchers. Pay & Benefits Salary: $67,500 – $70,000 per year, paid the same amount every Friday Home time: Off every weekend and all major holidays, with pay Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision Retirement: 401(k) with company match Time off: Paid vacation time Employment: W-2 position Freight: Return loads and out-and-back runs Responsibilities Operate van, roll-off, and lugger trucks on assigned routes Deliver and pick up containers at customer locations Safely load, transport, and unload materials Inspect loads and secure materials for safe transport Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate delivery and activity logs Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies Report mechanical issues and road incidents to dispatch Build and maintain positive relationships with customers Requirements At least 21 years of age Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) At least 1 year of CDL Class A driving experience Clean driving record Ability to pass a DOT physical, pre-employment drug screen, and background check Comfortable using handheld technology, including ELDs How to Apply Phone: 216-235-8145 Email: rnatal@imperialexpressllc.com Job Requirements: Wage Range: 65000.00 - 70000.00 per year General Description of Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision, 401(k) with company match
