CDL-A Semi-Local Truck Drivers Needed 3 month Experience - No-Touch Drop & Hook Earn $84,000-$90,000 a year, without ever touching the freight. This semi-local CDL-A position out of _ Lansing, MI runs mostly _ drop-and-hook retail deliveries across the Midwest, with only 2–3 nights out a week and Sundays and Mondays off. Drivers also get paid time off and a paid hazmat endorsement. Pay Estimated Annual Earnings: $84,000-$90,000 Approximate Weekly Earnings: $1,600-$1,800 Stop pay: $20 per stop on regional runs and $30 per stop on local runs $30 stop pay for backhaul pickups $20 per hour hourly/safety pay Breakdown pay: $25 per hour after 2 hours, up to $300 per day depending on the type of breakdown $100 weekly reliability pay (eligibility requirements apply) Paid training, about 3 days Home Time & Schedule Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, Sunday and Monday off Start time: 6:00 PM Out 2-3 nights per week, home the other nights Some holiday work expected when a holiday falls on your scheduled workday More routes and shifts open up once you have time on the account Trucks stay at the terminal during home time What You’ll Do Deliver to about 40 retail stores in Illinois (no downtown Chicago), northern Indiana, Michigan (including the Upper Peninsula), Ohio and Wisconsin Most runs are Chicago-suburb deliveries No-touch freight, about 85% drop and hook, with backhauls returning to Lansing Shuttle between two distribution facilities (Lansing and Pleasant Prairie) Drive a single-bunk sleeper with 45', 48' or 53' box trailers Benefits Safety equipment provided Dental, Vision & Medical insurance 401(k) with match Paid time off: 7 days in your first year, 10 days after Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days; the cost of the endorsement is reimbursed On-site snack bar, quarterly cookouts and quarterly ride-along with managers Qualifications Valid Class A CDL At least 3 months of CDL-A experience Valid DOT medical card Safe driving record Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire (cost reimbursed) Apply Today.
