Owner operators are treated as key partners in delivering high-quality service to customers. Role Description This full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver (owner operator) role is based in Atlanta, GA. The driver will operate their own equipment to transport freight safely and efficiently, following all DOT regulations and company policies. Day-to-day tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, planning routes, securing loads as needed, and maintaining accurate logs and documentation. The driver will coordinate with dispatch for load assignments, pick-up and delivery times, and route adjustments, while providing professional service at customer locations. The role also involves basic upkeep of the truck, monitoring maintenance needs, and managing fuel and operating costs to optimize profitability. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures. Ownership or long-term lease of a well-maintained tractor and ability to ensure regular maintenance and repairs. Demonstrated experience in regional or long-haul trucking, including safe operation in varying traffic and weather conditions. Strong route planning, time management, and basic navigation skills using GPS and related tools. Professional communication skills for working with dispatch, customers, and other team members. Ability to manage paperwork and compliance documentation, including logs, bills of lading, and delivery records. Reliable work ethic, commitment to safety, and willingness to adhere to company standards and customer requirements. Must meet all federal and state qualifications for commercial drivers, including required medical certification and background checks.
