CDL-A Truck Driver - OTR/Regional (Dry Van & Reefer)

United Freight Service (UFS) is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for OTR and regional runs across the Lower 48. We run mainly on the East Coast, the Midwest and down to Texas, and we're building a carrier where drivers are respected and held to a professional standard. This is a 1099 independent contractor position. What you'll run Dry van and reefer, drop & hook, mostly no-touch freight 2,500–3,000 miles per week, loaded and empty miles paid at the same rate Freightliner and Volvo trucks with APU, refrigerator, microwave, inverter and bunk heater (governed at 72 mph) 24/7 dispatch, with your next-day plan by 5 PM Pay $0.65 per mile to start, $0.68 at 90 days, $0.70 at 180 days Performance pay of up to $0.10 more per mile, based on on-time delivery, safety score and fuel efficiency Detention $35/hr after 2 hours, layover $200, extra stops $35, TONU $125 $2,000 engagement bonus ($500 at 90 days, $500 at 180 days, $1,000 at 1 year) Clean inspection bonuses ($100–$500), quarterly safety bonus up to $1,000, $2,000 driver referral bonus Weekly direct deposit UFS covers Travel to orientation Home travel allowance of $200/month after 90 days Home time Up to 10 days off per month, split as you like and planned weeks ahead 20 days out is the minimum; you can run more if you want Weekends home are not guaranteed Pets and riders Both can be accommodated.
