Responsibilities: Drive a Tractor / Trailer - 53' Dry Van 100% Drop and Hook Touch Free Freight Starting Rate $27.00 per hour Go from Detroit to Romulus pick up a trailer drive to Wooster, Ohio, drop off a trailer and pick up a trailer and drive back to Romulus. 230 miles round trip Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules and optimizing delivery times during night hours Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with DOT regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Experience: Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and at least 2 years of commercial driving experience Experience hauling a 53' dry van Familiarity with route driving logistics during night shifts is advantageous Strong understanding of safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo handling Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise makes a real impact!
