Summary We are seeking a dedicated Local CDL A Truck Driver to join our team at Go-To Transport. Based out of our Bay City, MI headquarters, you will play a vital role in delivering freight safely and efficiently across North America. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service. Home every night with primary lanes being in the Midwest and Canada. Responsibilities Transport freight safely and efficiently to various locations across the US and Canada. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of goods. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding routes and delivery schedules. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required. X Endorsement required. Proven experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. 2 Years verifiable CDL A Experience.
