CDL A Truck Driver

Company Description Pirate Laboratories provides specialized chemistry, training, and consulting services to the car wash industry, supporting individual operators and organizations of all sizes. Role Description The CDL A Truck Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Hiram, GA. No overnights or weekends. This role is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver chemicals and supplies to customer locations, adhering to all DOT regulations and company safety standards. The driver will load and unload products, verify delivery documentation, and ensure accurate and timely deliveries while maintaining professional communication with clients and the internal team. Day-to-day tasks include conducting pre and post-trip inspections, loading the delivery vehicles, delivering individual 30 & 15 gallon drums with a drum dolly to car wash sites, customer service, maintaining clean and organized vehicles, reporting maintenance needs, and following assigned routes and schedules. The CDL A Truck Driver may also assist with warehouse receiving tasks and support field operations when needed to ensure smooth service delivery. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures. Hazmat Certification Experience operating commercial trucks, including loading and unloading materials and securing cargo properly. Ability to read and follow delivery manifests, basic maps or GPS directions, and company routing procedures. Strong communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and handling chemical products and equipment safely. Attention to detail, reliability, and strong time-management skills to meet delivery schedules and deadlines. High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in transportation, logistics, or industrial supply delivery is beneficial. Comfortable working in an industrial or field environment; familiarity with car wash or chemical handling operations is a plus.
