Start Regional With Paid CDL-A Training and Weekend Home Time Newer Class A CDL drivers can build real road experience on a Midwest regional dry van operation with paid training before moving into a solo driving position. HOME TIME & RUNNING AREA Drivers typically head out Monday and return Saturday, with weekend home time. Freight runs through Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Illinois, with both day and night driving required. EARNINGS AFTER TRAINING Average weekly earnings of $1,000-$1,400 Approximately 1,500-1,800 miles per week Starting mileage pay of $0.56 per mile, increasing up to $0.59 at six months $40 load pay on runs from 0-149 miles $25 load pay on runs from 150-250 miles $15 stop pay Driver performance bonus opportunity TRAINING FOR NEW CDL-A DRIVERS Qualified trainees begin with approximately 3-5 weeks of paid training and 200-250 hours behind the wheel with an experienced driver. Ohio trainee pay is $850 per week. Orientation lasts no more than two days. A $300 orientation payment is paid upon hire.
