CDL A Truck Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, manual transmission vehicles, and oversized loads. If you have experience as a semi truck driver and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. Driver can be paid hourly or percentage of the load if staying local/regional. Starting rate will be based on driver experience, starting at $30/hour for hourly or 25% of the load for percentage of the load. OTR opportunities available - pay can be mileage based or percentage of the load if going OTR. Benefits apply to local, regional, and OTR positions. Duties Operate semi to transport goods to designated locations. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload products using a forklift. Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed/stepdeck trailers. Familiarity with route planning and navigation systems. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is required. Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and customers. Basic knowledge of strapping down heavy equipment and construction materials/equipment. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) safely as needed during loading and unloading processes. Must be detail-oriented and able to follow instructions accurately.
