ConfidentialJob Summary Join our dynamic team as a CDL A Truck Driver and take on the exciting challenge of transporting freight across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving. In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers equipped with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers to deliver freight safely and efficiently. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, combined with your knowledge of logistics cargo handling and adherence to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers, on diverse routes such as OTR and local deliveries Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, checking for mechanical issues and ensuring compliance with FMCSA regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo documentation in accordance with DOT regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate route planning and delivery schedules Experience At least 2 years proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving in various environments Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tanker trucks, and automobile transportation is highly preferred Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures for logistics cargo handling Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; endorsements such as Hazmat or Tanker are a plus but not mandatory initially Experience operating manual transmission trucks is advantageous but not required; training can be provided if necessary Strong understanding of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and hazardous materials regulations Pay: $75,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year Work Location: On the road
