CDL A Truck Driver

Diaz Companies is hiring Class A CDL drivers to support the waste and disposal operation at Susquehanna Transfer Station. Early Birds Welcome! Responsibilities Include: Haul large volumes of waste, recyclables, or equipment between local collection points, transfer stations, and final disposal sites. Safely operate tractor trailers on over the road (OTR) routes Load and unload freight with precision, following proper manual handling and cargo securing procedures Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient route planning and timely deliveries Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including manual transmission checks and truck loading assessments Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and compliance records in accordance to state regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Communicate effectively with supervisor regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and safety concerns Skills Needed: Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially with tractor trailers Experience with specialized loads not required, but preferred Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, and hazardous materials handling procedures Skilled in GPS navigation for route optimization across diverse terrains and delivery points Ability to load, secure, and unload freight safely using manual handling techniques Familiarity with logistics cargo handling, including flatbed operations Excellent driving skills with a clean record in commercial driving environments Experience with delivery driving on route schedules, ensuring punctuality and customer satisfaction If you’re ready to hit the road with confidence and professionalism, we want to hear from you!
