Role Description The CDL-A Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight between designated locations across the United States. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, following all DOT regulations and company safety policies, and maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation. The driver will load and unload cargo as required, verify shipment details, and communicate with dispatch and clients regarding schedules, delays, or issues. This position requires adherence to assigned routes and delivery timelines, while demonstrating courteous and professional behavior on the road and at customer sites. This is an on-site role located in the United States, with work performed primarily on the road and at client facilities. Qualifications Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record and compliance with all federal and state regulations. Proven experience operating commercial trucks safely, including performing vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks. Ability to manage schedules, follow route plans, and maintain accurate trip logs and delivery documentation. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with dispatch, clients, and team members. Capability to handle physical tasks such as loading, unloading, and securing freight when required. Knowledge of DOT safety standards, hours-of-service rules, and relevant transportation regulations. Dependable work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and customer service. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience as a CDL-A Truck Driver is highly beneficial.
