Class A CDL Truck Driver (Equipment Transport / Regional Travel) Terra Power Drilling – Yoakum, TX Paid for Time + Mileage + Daily Per Diem | Driving & Loading | Will Train on Rigs | Hotels 100% Covered About the Job We are a small, family-owned geotechnical drilling company looking for a dependable, adaptable Class A CDL driver to handle our regional equipment transport. Your main focus is transporting our trucks and equipment trailers to regional project locations. You will drive and operate our drilling rigs solely to load and unload them from the transport trailers. If you have never moved a drilling rig before, that is completely fine—we are happy to train you on how to drive, load, and secure them safely. The Schedule: Our projects run on an as-needed, variable schedule based on project demands . This means work hours and dispatch times change frequently, and you will need to be out on the road over weekends depending on the job. We are looking for someone who thrives with a flexible schedule. The Comfort: You won't be sleeping in a tight truck cab. We pay 100% of your hotel room costs so you can rest comfortably between runs. What You Will Do Safely transport drilling rigs and equipment trailers to regional job sites. Drive and operate the drilling rigs solely to load and unload them from trailers (we will train you on this). Properly secure heavy equipment loads using chains, binders, and straps. Perform standard pre- and post-trip DOT vehicle inspections. Requirements Valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record. High flexibility with work hours, variable schedules, and weekend travel. Willingness to learn how to load and handle heavy machinery. Reliable, independent, and able to pass a standard DOT drug screen.
