CDL-A Truck Driver- .75cpm Hopper Bottom

Job Summary We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating hopper bottom trailers. This role involves delivering freight efficiently across designated routes while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. The Truck Driver will play a vital role in maintaining timely deliveries and upholding the company's reputation for excellent service. Sign on Bonus is 3,000 dollars, paid out evenly across the first year of employment. Responsibilities Operate a variety of commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers and hopper bottom trucks. Load and unload freight efficiently and safely at multiple locations. Drive route-specific deliveries while adhering to scheduled timelines. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation. Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation of goods. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues. Assist with forklift operations when necessary for loading or unloading cargo. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type (manual transmission experience preferred). Needs a CLASS A CDL Proven experience in truck driving, including freight delivery and route driving. Experience operating specialized trucks such as hopper bottom trucks is a must. Ability to load & unload freight safely using appropriate equipment like forklifts if required. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards related to commercial driving. Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency. Physical ability to load/unload cargo and perform vehicle inspections regularly. Prior experience with delivery driver roles or commercial trucking is highly desirable.
