Job Overview As a CDL-A Truck Driver at VS United LLC, you’ll transport freight safely and reliably on over-the-road (OTR) routes using dry van trailers only. We offer steady freight, reliable miles, and support to help you succeed on the road. This paid position requires safe driving, proper cargo handling, and compliance with all applicable regulations. Responsibilities Operate a tractor-trailer with a dry van trailer on assigned OTR routes. Transport freight safely and deliver loads on time. Follow dispatch instructions and use GPS navigation to follow assigned routes. Inspect the truck and trailer before and after trips and report any damage, safety concerns, or mechanical issues. Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled according to company procedures. Maintain accurate driving logs and required documentation. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Communicate with dispatch regarding load updates, delays, and delivery status. Help ensure freight is delivered safely, on time, and in good condition. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license. Valid DOT Medical Card required. Safe driving record and commitment to following safety regulations. Previous commercial truck driving experience preferred. OTR driving experience is a plus. Ability to operate a tractor-trailer with a dry van trailer. Knowledge of vehicle inspections, cargo securement, and DOT regulations. Ability to communicate professionally with dispatch and customers. Ability to meet applicable DOT medical and safety requirements.
