CDL A Truck Driver

Job Summary This is a permanent local spot schedule position. You will have 6-7 local spots each day. Give and Go Express is a Federal Express Corporation contractor. You will come home every day! Truck is a Freightliner day cab with automatic transmission. We offer a Paid Time Off (PTO) program after 6 months of employment. We also offer a quarterly bonus program after 6 months of employment. In addition, we offer a 401K retirement program with a $1 for $1 match up to 4% of income after one full year of employment. Weekly Schedule: Monday through Friday: Your day will start at FedEx Ground, located at 4111 Producers Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46218. Your first pickup is at noon. Your last spot pickup is at 6pm. All spots are in the Indianapolis area. Saturdays: Similar schedule on Saturdays. This schedule runs Monday through Saturday. We expect the driver we hire to cover at least one Saturday per month. However, if the driver wishes to maximize their income, they can cover this schedule every Saturday. Weeks that you drive 5 days a week, you can expect to earn $1,500+. Weeks you work 6 days a week you can expect to earn $1,800+. Sunday: Off Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailer Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption and vehicle performance Communicate effectively with Give and Go management and dispatchers regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road During peak season, you will be asked to work a couple times on a Saturday or Sunday. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a doubles endorsement. 12 months of verified driving within the last 36 months, or 60 months of driving experience within the last 120 months. No accidents within the last 12 months and 1 accident maximum within the past 36 months. One moving citation maximum within the last 36 months. No felonies or misdemeanors involving theft or violence within the past 120 months.
