CDL-A Tractor-Trailer Driver (Flatbed and Stepdeck experience)

Position Overview We are seeking experienced CDL-A Flatbed and Step-deck drivers with at least 3 years of experience. This role involves the safe transportation of oversize/overweight and specialized freight, requiring strict adherence to FMCSA regulations and company safety policies. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations, including step-deck and flatbed trailers. Secure loads per FMCSA Part 393 and company standards (chains, binders, straps, tarps). Comply with Hours-of-Service (HOS) and ELD requirements. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIR) daily. Follow permit requirements, route restrictions, and OS/OW escorts when needed. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and escorts. Maintain accurate logs, bills of lading, and compliance paperwork. Reliably commute to our facility daily. Minimum Qualifications Valid Class A CDL. Minimum 5 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience. At least 5 years flatbed/step-deck securement experience. Clean MVR (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 12 months, no major violations in last 3 years). Ability to pass DOT drug/alcohol test, Clearinghouse check, PSP Check, and background screening. Must meet all FMCSA Part 391 driver qualification requirements. Preferred Qualifications TWIC card Knowledge of specialized permits and escort procedures. Compensation & Benefits Competitive percentage-based pay (DOE and load type).
