You sync up with dispatch, map your route, and roll out—driving defensively, following every traffic law and DOT standard, and staying focused on safe, timely deliveries. Along the way, you keep precise logs, secure freight for each leg of the trip, and connect with customers, answering questions and leaving a professional impression at every stop. Before heading home, you complete a post-trip inspection so the truck is ready for the next run. What you will do Drive a commercial CMV safely and efficiently while complying with all traffic rules and regulations. Move freight to multiple destinations and keep to scheduled delivery windows. Complete pre- and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and regulatory compliance. Record driving hours, equipment upkeep, and delivery details with accuracy. Coordinate routes and timing through clear communication with dispatch and teammates. Load and unload cargo, securing each load properly for transport. Deliver standout customer service on-site, addressing questions or concerns professionally. What you bring Active CDL-A and a clean driving record. 2+ years of professional driving experience preferred. Solid understanding of DOT rules and safety practices. Comfort operating tractor–trailers and delivery trucks. Strong communication and people skills. Self-starter with excellent time management. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
