Duties Safely operate tractor-tankers across long-distance OTR routes. Load and unload freight with precision, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials and dangerous goods in compliance with Hazardous Materials Regulations. Navigate using GPS systems to follow designated routes efficiently while maintaining adherence to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, tankers to ensure safety and compliance with all trucking regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and emergency responders as needed during deliveries or in case of incidents. Maintain a professional driving record by following all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies throughout each route. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience with manual 10 speed transmission. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially in tankers, and learning how to unload tankers when required. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, Hazardous Materials Regulations, and Hazardous Materials handling procedures. Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution on over-the-road routes. Do Not Apply We will not accept drivers that went through SAP regardless if you completed the program.
