This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. Pay & Schedule Pay: $29 per hour Overtime: Paid after 40 hours Schedule: Friday through Tuesday Start time: 5:00 a.m. Shift length: 10–12 hours Job Details Route type: Local Weekend assignment: Spotting for four hours on Saturday and four hours on Sunday Remaining scheduled shifts: Driving Equipment: CDL A equipment and yard-switching equipment Handling: No-touch freight Key Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes and in the yard Perform yard-switching and spotting duties Transport equipment in accordance with DOT and safety standards Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs and paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams Meet the physical demands of the role Minimum Requirements Valid CDL Class A license 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience Recent yard-switching experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) plan Referral program Why Work With TransForce Join TransForce and see why our drivers are proud to be on the TransForce team.
