River Road Freight LLC is seeking dependable CDL-A regional truck drivers to join our transportation team in Romeoville, Illinois. If you have at least six months of Class A tractor-trailer experience and are looking for weekly pay, regional routes, quality equipment, and excellent benefits, we encourage you to apply. What We Offer $26/hour base pay $39/hour overtime after 40 hours per week Weekly earnings target of $1,300 Additional local driving opportunities when available Home every other day under the regional operating schedule Weekly pay every Friday Primarily drop-and-hook freight 100% no-touch freight Full-time W-2 employment Modern International automatic sleeper trucks Consistent freight and dispatch support Benefits Health insurance through the Cigna network Dental and vision coverage through Sun Life 401(k) with a 2% company match Two weeks or more of paid time off annually Childcare benefits Short-term and long-term disability coverage Accident and AD&D insurance $500 driver referral bonus, subject to program requirements Up to $50 per week in safety bonuses, subject to eligibility Additional performance-based incentives Driver Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) Minimum six months of tractor-trailer driving experience Must be at least 21 years old Must meet company and DOT driving record requirements Must meet applicable DOT medical, drug testing, and background screening requirements Must meet FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse eligibility requirements Comfortable using GPS, electronic logging devices, and dispatch applications Ability to communicate effectively with dispatch and operations Willingness to work assigned regional schedules, including applicable evening and weekend assignments Job Responsibilities Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailer equipment Transport Amazon freight on assigned regional routes Operate dry vans and intermodal equipment as assigned Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain electronic logs and transportation documentation Follow DOT and FMCSA safety regulations Communicate with dispatch regarding load status, delays, and scheduling Why Join River Road Freight LLC?
