Responsibilities: Execute local and regional pickup and delivery routes in and around Louisville, KY Perform drop & hook trailer operations efficiently at customer and terminal locations Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations Maintain accurate logs and documentation including Bills of Lading and delivery records Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and dock personnel Ensure safe operation of Class A tractor-trailer equipment at all times Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations and procedures Requirements: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required Must meet DOT physical and medical certification standards Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens when required Previous tractor-trailer or pickup and delivery driving experience required (1 year in the last 3 or 3 in 5) Clean MVR and satisfactory background check Ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery schedules Strong knowledge of DOT Hours of Service (HOS) regulations Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused professional demeanor About Us: Gross Transport Inc is a trusted name in freight and transportation contracted to deliver freight for Fedex operations, committed to delivering excellence on every route.
