Responsibilities
• Operate and maintain tractor and applicable trailer equipment safely and efficiently
• Transport expedited LTL and truckload freight across regional and long-haul routes
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with all DOT and company safety regulations
• Manage load securement and verify freight counts when required
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and delivery status
• Provide professional, on-time pickup and delivery with strong customer service
• Oversee fuel, basic maintenance, and business expenses as an owner operator
• Follow company policies, procedures, and performance standards
• Support a safety-first, teamwork-oriented culture on the road and at terminals
