We are contracting professional CDL-A Owner Operators for consistent, year-round intermodal container drayage out of the Port of Savannah (GPA Garden City & Ocean Terminal) . Run dedicated regional roundtrips throughout Georgia, South Carolina, and surrounding Southeast lanes. Settlement & Contractor Perks Gross Potential: $4,000 – $6,500+ weekly (based on 5–6 days of dispatched turns) Weekly Settlements: Direct deposit every Friday with itemized rate sheets Quick Pay Available: Flexible funding options available 100% Fuel Surcharge: Full FSC pass-through directly to you Consistent Volume: Steady year-round import/export freight—no seasonal dips or load-board hunting Predictable Dispatch: Dedicated corridors with roundtrip container turns—home daily Responsibilities Pull ocean containers (chassis/intermodal freight) safely between Savannah port terminals, inland cross-docks, and customer facilities across GA, SC, and regional corridors. Navigate Port of Savannah gate facilities (Garden City & Ocean Terminal) efficiently following GPA safety protocols. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your tractor and intermodal chassis (tires, twist locks, lights, air lines). Maintain accurate ELD driving logs and submit clean interchange receipts (EIR / TIR) promptly via mobile dispatch. Maintain regular communication with dispatch regarding turn times and delivery confirmations. Qualifications & Requirements Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR and valid Medical Card. Active TWIC Card (Required for Port of Savannah terminal access). Own a reliable Class 8 Day Cab or Sleeper (ELD compliant and DOT inspection current). Experience: Minimum 1–2 years verifiable CDL-A experience (intermodal container drayage experience strongly preferred). UIIA approved or leased-on contractor capability. No touch freight: 100% drop-and-hook or live container unloads (no manual cargo handling). Pay: $4,500.00 - $6,000.00 per week Work Location: On the road
