CDL A Owner Operator Intermodal Truck Driver

Our primary focus is regional port container work, with runs up to approximately 550 miles one way . We also have local opportunities and short haul. A schedule that gets you home during the week and on weekends, we want to talk to you. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions across local and short-haul routes, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor-trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards Execute route driving efficiently while maintaining timely deliveries within designated areas Manage freight documentation accurately, including delivery logs, load manifests, and inspection reports Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route progress, delivery status, and any issues encountered during shifts Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical concerns promptly to keep trucks in optimal condition Pay: $3,300.00 - $4,100.00 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Fuel card Fuel discount Health insurance Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s): Can not be on the SAP PROGRAM Experience: CLASS A : 2 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Savannah, GA 31415 (Required) Work Location: In person
