Overview We are seeking a dedicated CDL A Over The Road Semi Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating large commercial vehicles on long-distance routes across various regions. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting freight over extended distances, primarily on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Safely transport freight, ensuring all cargo is secured and delivered in accordance with company standards and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery records in compliance with federal and state regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and any issues encountered during trips. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operation. Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while prioritizing safety at all times. Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record 2 years minimum. Proven experience operating semi-trucks on long-distance routes, preferably on over-the-road (OTR) assignments. Ability to drive for extended periods and handle the physical demands of long-haul trucking. Strong knowledge of federal and state transportation laws and safety regulations.
