You’ll operate a commercial tractor-trailer on over-the-road (OTR) and Flex routes, deliver freight to assigned destinations, and follow applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations with routes serving Tulsa, Oklahoma, a portion of the west coast or New England. This role requires safe driving practices, careful cargo handling, and clear attention to route and delivery requirements. DRIVERS ARE REQUIRED TO PULL ORDERS FOR DONUT STORES ON ROUTE. YOU WILL HAVE A DOLLY AND RAMP. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 50 POUNDS CONSECUTIVELY. Schedule Typically 3-4 nights on the road, then off on the weekend, with occassional weekend work. Most of our drivers are used based on a rotating 4 week schedule. Duties Drive commercial trucks on assigned OTR and route-driving schedules, using GPS navigation to support timely, accurate deliveries. Inspect and operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers; flatbed, tanker, and automobile transportation experience may be useful depending on assigned freight. Load, secure, and handle freight using safe manual-handling practices and appropriate cargo procedures, maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions Reports vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles. Approximately 5-6 nights away from home per week Weekend work and fixed scheduling details to be confirmed Follow hazardous materials and dangerous goods regulations when transporting regulated freight, including hazmat loads when assigned. Skills Essential: Valid commercial driving qualifications for the assigned equipment; truck, commercial, and delivery driving ability, including manual-transmission operation. Essential: Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations, safe driving practices, and freight loading and unloading. Essential: You must be able to lift 50 pounds consecutively. Essential: Ability to handle cargo manually and follow delivery instructions across varied routes. Transportation of windows, doors, and miscellaneous account freight. Preferred: Delivery driver experience and familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation. Preferred: Experience with hazmat, hazardous materials regulations, dangerous goods, and logistics cargo handling.
