CDL-A OTR Truck Driver International Wire Group, a Pantheon Electric Company Location : Camden, NY (Home Base) Recruiting Area: Central New York Employment Type : Full-Time Work Arrangement : Over-the-Road Compensation: Mileage Pay: $0.669 per mile Detention Pay: $25.00 per hour Sign-On Bonus: $4,000 Pay Frequency: Weekly Position Overview International Wire Group, a Pantheon Electric company, is seeking experienced CDL-A Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Drivers to join our transportation team. Our drivers are an essential part of our operations, ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of products to customers while supporting our manufacturing and distribution network. We offer competitive mileage compensation, detention pay, regular routes, balanced home time, and a comprehensive benefits package. This position is based out of our Camden, NY facility; however, qualified CDL-A drivers residing throughout Central New York are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits Competitive mileage pay of $0.669 per mile Detention pay of $25.00 per hour $4,000 sign-on bonus ($2,000 at start and $2,000 after six months) Weekly pay Regular routes with balanced home time Affordable healthcare benefits 401(k) participation Paid holidays and paid vacation Key Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles on assigned over-the-road routes. Transport and deliver products to customers while coordinating the return of empty reels to designated facilities. Communicate with dispatchers to coordinate routes, deliveries, and pickups. Properly secure, position, and balance cargo in compliance with applicable safety regulations. Complete required vehicle inspections and promptly report equipment or mechanical concerns. Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with DOT hours-of-service requirements. Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations and company safety procedures. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and transportation records. Demonstrate professionalism and strong customer service when interacting with customers and internal teams. Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A). Clean driving record. Current DOT physical certification. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial vehicle safety requirements. Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and hours-of-service regulations. Understanding of proper cargo securement and safe driving practices. Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills. Commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service. Location and Travel This position is headquartered at International Wire Group's Camden, New York facility. Candidates residing anywhere throughout Central New York are welcome to apply.
