CDL-A OTR / Regional Driver – Container & Temperature-Controlled Trailers (W-2)

Job Description & Summary Wallace Logistics Services, LLC is hiring experienced Class A CDL Drivers for our growing W-2 fleet! We specialize in premium temperature-controlled freight and intermodal container operations. Electronic toll & scale bypass transponders (PrePass / E-ZPass). Driver Qualifications & Requirements CDL Class: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A). TWIC Credential: Active, unexpired Transportation Worker Identification Credential ( TWIC card ) required (or immediate eligibility to obtain) for port and rail access. Medical: Valid DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate. Safety Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no recent serious moving violations or at-fault accidents. Substance Screening: Must clear a mandatory pre-employment DOT drug screen and FMCSA Clearinghouse query. Experience: Prior experience with temperature-controlled (Reefer) trailers and/or Intermodal port containers is highly preferred. Primary Responsibilities Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in full compliance with federal FMCSA/DOT regulations. Perform thorough daily Pre-Trip and Post-Trip vehicle inspections electronically via DVIR. Manage temperature settings according to physical paper Bills of Lading (BOLs), maintain proper reefer pre-cooling, and enforce the 3/4 reefer/genset fuel rule. Ensure proper cargo securement using a minimum of two (2) load locks and high-security trailer seals on all loads. Maintain active communication with dispatch using the ISAAC tablet.
