CDL-A OTR Reefer Team Driver $0.60–$0.68 CPM Team Driving Safety Bonuses 2026+ Freightliner Cascadias 100% No-Touch Reefer Freight We are hiring experienced CDL-A OTR Team Drivers for consistent long-haul refrigerated freight. Drivers will operate as part of a two-driver team , allowing the truck to stay moving for more miles while each driver receives required rest time. You do not necessarily need to apply with your own co-driver . Qualified drivers may be paired with another company driver based on experience, availability, and compatibility. Our primary freight runs between Northern California / the Bay Area and Houston, Texas , with return freight back toward California. Pay & Earnings $0.60–$0.68 CPM High-mileage team operation All dispatched miles paid Weekly pay Safety and performance bonus opportunities Detention pay when applicable Layover pay when applicable Extra stop pay when applicable Starting CPM will depend on experience, driving record, safety history, and reefer experience. Team drivers have the opportunity to earn more by keeping the truck moving significantly more miles than a solo operation. Team Driving This position operates with two CDL-A drivers assigned to one truck . While one driver operates the truck, the second driver takes required off-duty or sleeper-berth time. Drivers must be comfortable: Sharing a sleeper tractor with another professional driver Alternating driving shifts Communicating with their co-driver Maintaining a clean and professional truck Following Hours of Service requirements Coordinating fueling, inspections, pickups, and deliveries Respecting the other driver's required rest periods Drivers may apply together as an existing team or may be paired with another qualified company driver. Safety Bonus Program We reward drivers who operate safely and help keep our equipment DOT-ready. $100 bonus for qualifying clean scale / inspection results Additional safety and performance incentives Clean inspections and strong safety performance can lead to additional bonuses Safety bonuses are paid in addition to mileage pay Both drivers are expected to help maintain the truck, trailer, paperwork, and overall DOT compliance. Freight 100% no-touch freight Refrigerated / reefer freight Primarily frozen and temperature-controlled products Full truckload freight Long-haul operation Consistent California–Texas freight Return freight primarily back toward California Drivers are responsible for monitoring: Reefer temperature Reefer fuel level Trailer seals Reefer alarms Tractor and trailer condition Customer temperature requirements Because this is a team operation, both drivers share responsibility for monitoring the load and equipment while the truck is in transit. Primary Lane The primary lane runs between: Northern California / Bay Area ↔ Houston, Texas Typical routing includes: California → Arizona → New Mexico → Texas Return freight will generally bring the truck back toward California. Routes may occasionally vary depending on freight demand and customer requirements. Equipment Drive newer, well-maintained equipment. 2024 or newer Freightliner Cascadia tractors Automatic transmissions Condo / sleeper cab Assigned truck whenever possible ELD and GPS equipped Modern safety technology Company fuel card Refrigerated trailers Well-maintained equipment Team drivers will generally remain assigned to the same truck whenever possible. Required Pre-Trip Inspections Proper pre-trip inspections are required before operating the truck . Drivers must inspect: Tires and wheels Brakes and air system Lights and reflectors Fluids and visible leaks Fifth wheel and tractor-trailer connections Reefer unit operation Trailer condition Safety equipment Any visible damage or mechanical concerns Drivers must immediately report warning lights, defects, damage, or safety concerns.
