In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers on over-the-road routes, delivering refrigerated and general cargo to various destinations nationwide. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and commitment to timely deliveries will drive our success. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers on long-haul routes, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and fuel efficiency. Safe driving practices, ensuring cargo integrity and safety during transit. Manage delivery documentation accurately, including manifests, bills of lading, and inspection reports. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking load securement, tire condition, brakes, lights, and fluid levels. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered on the road. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driving. Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules Skilled in operating various trailer types but main focus is on Dry Van Proficient in using GPS navigation tools for efficient route planning across over-the-road (OTR) routes. Excellent driving record demonstrating safe tractor-trailer operation consistent with trucking industry standards. Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight security and cargo integrity during transit.
