CDL A or CDL B Truck Driver

MILL METALS, A GROWING WELL ESTABLISHED MANCHESTER COMPANY, IS LOOKING FOR DELIVERY TRUCK DRIVERS. WE HAVE POSITIONS AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY FOR CDL CLASS A AND CLASS B DRIVERS. -52 Week Per Year Position -Average work week 45-55 Hours -No week-end or overnight travel -Work in an environment where team-work and safety are celebrated -Full benefit package, including health (individual coverage only) and dental insurance, paid holidays & employer match 401K Responsibilities: Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck Assure that all loads and materials are properly secured Assure that all DOT safety rules and regulations are met, including accurate log-book and daily safety check information documentation Assure that all state and local traffic laws and regulations are followed Keep vehicle clean and maintain recommended maintenance schedules Load and unload cargo Represent the Company in a positive and professional manner Report any issues or incidents to dispatch Inspect truck before and after trip Self-starter, ability to work independently, under pressure to meet deadlines and adapt with changing priorities Qualifications: Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields Commercial driver's license Good driving record/MVR and PSP, with no commercial serious violations and no more than 3 moving violations total within the past 3 years Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Physical and drug screen Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty **Background check will be performed** **COPY OF DRIVING RECORD REQUIRED** Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
