CDL-A Non-Hazmat Tanker Driver (DAY SHIFT)

CDL-A NON-Hazmat Tanker Driver Responsibilities Operate a CDL-A tanker truck to transport non-hazardous liquids to various destinations. Ensure the safe and timely delivery of cargo. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and tanker. Maintain accurate DVIR books. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of the tanker. Communicate effectively with the operations manager. Follow company policies and procedures for safety and operations. Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any issues to the maintenance team. Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of the tanker and associated equipment. Work day, with a 2am start. Dispatch from Berlin, CT, and complete multiple loads daily, Up to 6 days a week. Load out of CT, NY, or NH and deliver back to CT. HOME EVERY NIGHT Perform one run to NJ per month to wash out trailers. Lift up to 50lbs - 75lbs as required. CDL-A NON-Hazmat Tanker Driver Requirements Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Clean driving record with no DUI convictions in the previous 7 years. Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and pre-employment drug screen. Ability to operate a tanker truck safely and efficiently. Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physical ability to load and unload cargo, including lifting and securing hoses and other equipment. Basic mechanical skills for routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Must have 4 years of CLEAN driving experience. Must have at least 1 year of experience with tankers. Must have a clean driving history/background.
