CDL-A Local Shuttle Driver 28/Hour OT Home Daily

We are hiring a CDL-A Local Shuttle Driver to move trailers at customer request, shuttle between locations, assist with fleet trailer movements, and provide coverage when other drivers are off. This is a local, no-touch freight position with a tandem-axle day cab and consistent daytime hours. Drivers must be flexible with scheduling and shift coverage. Saturday work is required and rotated between drivers; Sunday work may occasionally be required based on customer needs. Pay and bonuses Hourly pay: $28.00 per hour Overtime: paid after 40 hours worked 40-hour guarantee available for drivers available to work every shift Transition bonus: $500 paid in full on the second paycheck Referral bonus: $1,000 on the second paycheck $1,000 at 60 days $1,000 at 120 days Schedule 1st shift: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - Noon 2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 11:30 AM - Close, typically 7:00 PM Saturday: 6:00 AM–Close, typically 7:00 PM Saturday coverage rotates between drivers Sunday work may occasionally be required Weekend scheduling depends on customer needs Typical coverage hours across drivers: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Home daily Operating area Local on-site spotter and shuttle operations What you will do Move trailers at customer request Shuttle trailers between customer locations Assist with fleet trailer movements Cover other drivers’ time off when necessary Operate a tandem-axle day cab Follow customer instructions, safety procedures, and yard/dock requirements Maintain accurate records and communicate with dispatch or site contacts as needed Equipment and freight Tandem-axle day cab Local on-site spotter and shuttle operations No-touch freight No loading or unloading required Driver requirements Valid Class A CDL HazMat endorsement required Tanker endorsement required Minimum 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience Must be flexible with scheduling and shift coverage Ability to work rotating Saturdays and occasional Sundays as needed
